Heza is a registered APHA (American Paint Horse Association)
solid bay mare, born January 5th, 2005.
Heza's sir Heza Twist, a sorel overo APHA stallion, won APHQ (Association Paint Horse du Quebec) Champion and AQR (Association Quebecoise de Reining) Reserve Champion during 1998, both of Quebec's most respected reining circuits. His offspring has proven to be as promising.
Heza has received a complete training in the view of competing in Reining. She also possesses a very good "cow sense", which would make her an excellent prospect for cattle working.
From the top of her 15 hands, Heza is very agile, fast and sensitive to cues.
Heza's foals sired by Bravario will all be registrable as half-Andalusian with IALHA and also as Azteca.
The American Azteca
The American Azteca is a versatile, athletic horse which has already proven itself in many of the equine sports. One of their most endearing qualities is a real willingness to please and perform, which makes them a pleasure to be around and train. If correctly bred and treated effectively, they are generally intelligent, friendly, playful, curious, sensitive and sensible. Like their Spanish ancestors, they are energetic, bold and brave yest manageable to their riders and handlers. They inherit some of the beautiful Spanish elegance, nobleness, flair, grace and natural colletion. When bred with Quarter Horses or Paint Horses, they inherit strenght, quickness, agility, docility and cow sense. Their temperament serves them well during peformance feats requiring courage, concentration and agility.
The American Azteca combines both the new and the old world, resulting in a noble, docile, agile, proud spectacular horse. The breed is very easy to train and once taught, never forgets.
